Strengthening Accessibility & Inclusion within Professional Programs: Practicums & Experiential Learning

The student Accessibility Offices of the University of Toronto (St. George Campus, University of Toronto Mississauga, University of Toronto Scarborough), in collaboration with the University of Toronto Office of the Vice-Provost Students, invite you to attend a free two-day virtual conference on June 17 and 18, 2021 to explore enhancement of equity, accessibility, and inclusion within professional programs, specifically within practicums and experiential learning settings.

Strengthening Accessibility & Inclusion within Professional Programs: Practicums & Experiential Learning

The conference includes several presentations by U of T professional program faculty, staff and students on a range of creative strategies and accommodations that facilitate success for students with disabilities in professional programs.

The keynote speaker on both days, Dr. Peter Poullos, Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology, and Founder and Director of Stanford Medicine Abilities Coalition, will address disability, diversity and inclusion, as well as technical standards and creative accommodations.

Mike Natter, MD. Fellow, PGY-4, NYU Langone Health, Artist, Humanist, will be offering insights into the intersection between art and medicine.
